Sawdust Recycling

10 Uses for Sawdust

1. Make fake snow. Mix sawdust with white paint and glue to cover holiday crafts with simulated snow.

2. Get a grip. Winter loggers spread sawdust on their truck paths. It provides traction and strengthens compacted snow while protecting the ground underneath.

3. Soak up spills. Keep a bucket handy for accidents. Sawdust is highly absorbent and can quickly contain spills of oil or paint.

4. Feed your plants. Sawdust mixed with manure or a nitrogen supplement keeps your plants healthy and moist, too.

5. Make a fire starter. Melt candle wax in a nonstick pot, add sawdust until the liquid thickens, pour into an empty egg carton, and let cool. Use the briquettes to help get a fire going.

6. Fill wood holes and defects. Used by professional floor refinishers, very fine sawdust or "wood flour" makes an excellent, stainable filler when mixed into a putty with wood glue.

7. Pack a path. Tamp sawdust into a dirt walkway to curtail erosion and create a soft, fragrant pathway through your garden or wooded lot.

8. Chase away weeds. Sawdust from walnut wood is a natural weed killer. Sweep this variety between the cracks of your walkway.

9. Lighten up cement. Sawdust mixed into mortar has long been used when erecting cordwood walls to aid in bonding the logs together. Do the same when casting lightweight vessels and moisture-loving planters.

10. Clean a floor. Moisten a pile of sawdust with water and use a push broom to sweep it around the concrete floor of your garage, basement, or shop. The wet sawdust will capture and absorb fine dust and grime.

How to transport wood sawdust
1) Load sawdust directly on truck
2) Compact sawdust into bales load on truck

Normally we will choose way 2 ,which save transport cost and transport more sawdust

The hard drive was first introduced on September 13, 1956 and consists of one or more hard drive platters inside of air sealed casing. Most computer hard drives are in an internal drive bay at the front of the computer and connect to themotherboard using either ATASCSI, or a SATA cable and power cable. Below, is a picture of what the inside of a hard drive looks like for a desktop and laptop hard drive.

WEEE DIRECTIVE

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) is the European Community directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) which, together with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, became European Law in February 2003. The WEEE Directive set collection, recycling and recovery targets for all types of electrical goods, with a minimum rate of 4 kilograms per head of population per annum recovered for recycling by 2009. The RoHS Directive set restrictions upon European manufacturers as to the material content of new electronic equipment placed on the market.
The symbol adopted by the European Council to represent waste electrical and electronic equipment comprised a crossed out wheelie bin with or without a single black line underneath the symbol. The black line indicates that goods have been placed on the market after 2005, when the Directive came into force. Goods without the black line were manufactured between 2002 and 2005. In such instances, these are treated as “historic WEEE” and falls outside re-imbursement via producer compliance schemes.
The directive has undergone a number of minor revisions since its inception in 2002. These include updates in 2006 and 2009.
After nine years the Directive was seen as failing to achieve some of its goals, hence the legislation had been amended again. On December 20, 2011 the European Parliament and the European Council agreed on amendments to the Directive, subject to a second-reading vote, which was taken on January 19, 2012.
The changes affect the method for calculating collection rates, which were previously four kg per inhabitant per year. To provide a transitional period of seven years to introduce the revised method of calculation, the present method is retained for the first four years from the time the amended Directive comes into force. For the next three years, commencing with the fifth year after the amendment, the calculation of collection rates will be revised to 45% of the weight of E&E products entering the market. Once this seven years transitional period is over, EU member states will individually select the actual collection options they wish to use.
The directive places WEEE into numerous categories, the first tier being historic and non-historic. Historic WEEE implies equipment placed on the market prior to 2005 and the WEEE directive places the onus upon the owner of the equipment to make provisions for its recycling. Where equipment was placed on the market after 2005, it is known as non-historic WEEE (denoted by a bar underneath the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol[6]), and it is the responsibility of the producer/distributor to make provisions for its collection and recycling.
The WEEE directive sets a total of 10 categories of WEEE[7] for reporting purposes.
  • Large household appliances
  • Small household appliances
  • IT and telecommunications equipment
  • Consumer equipment
  • Lighting equipment
  • Electrical and electronic tools
  • Toys, leisure and sports equipment
  • Medical devices
  • Monitoring and control instruments
  • Automatic dispenser

Why Use Straw Based Bedding And Straw Baler

Why Use Straw Based Bedding?

Straw has suffered misconceptions in the past, however with technological advances and the shortage of shavings, chopped straw is fast becoming one of the most popular products on offer. The benefits far outweigh the historical negative connotations a straw bed held – with various options available.
There are two main types of chopped straw - Wheat Straw which is readily available and has vastly improved over the years and Rape Straw – now extremely popular due to its highly absorbent properties and ease of use. Both types of straw are very biodegradable, taking on average two to three months to rot down, rather than two to three years in the case of wood based products – making them highly beneficial for owners who have to pay for muck heap removal. Products using these raw materials, such as Nedz Original and Nedz Pro offer a comfortable, virtually dust free environment for your horse, as well as working out to be more financially viable due to the reduced amounts needed
.
A very new concept in chopped straw use is through pelleting the raw material. In this instance the straw is treated with steam and ground to form very short, highly absorbent fibres – which are then pelleted so that they break down once laid in the bed. Virtually dust free and exceptionally absorbent our new product Nedz Advance has pioneered this revolutionary concept and is already proving to be economical, space saving and making a huge dent in the size of your muck heaps!
Rather than the age old dusty images that a straw bed conjures up – with the advances in ingredients and processes straw can now be treated with various formula’s to offer additional benefits. We use an exclusive formula called Natural Nedz, which contains Manuka - an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory and anti-insecticidal type of tea tree oil which is very good for sensitive skin and has no known side effects. This plus Aloe Vera and a natural bitter tasting ingredient to discourage eating, means we can offer horses a safe, healthy environment.
So how to choose the suitable machine for compacting straw or chopped straw, please consider one powerful and robust baler for your daily working.enerpat have one 125 tons chopped straw baler.which can compact 600-1000kgs weight bales.

Information on Recycling Cardboard Boxes

In today's world, "going green" is a way to help save the planet. One of the ways to accomplish that is to recycle cardboard boxes. According to Cardboardrecycling.org, "For every 1 ton of cardboard that we recycle we can save 9 cubic yards of landfill space." However, cardboard boxes must be recycled properly and not all boxes can be recycled. Therefore, knowing information on recycling cardboard boxes is imperative before deciding whether to recycle or throw away the boxes

Types

  • There are two types of cardboard boxes. The first type is paperboard, which consists of lightweight cardboard. The majority of food in boxes purchased at the supermarket comes packaged in paperboard. The other type is corrugated cardboard, which has two thin outer layers with a thick wavy inner layer to make it strong. The main use of corrugated cardboard is for making shipping boxes.

Identification

  • So many things come in cardboard boxes, like packages in the mail, food such as cereal and pasta, even delivered pizza. It can sometimes be confusing as to what cardboard boxes can be recycled and which ones cannot. All corrugated cardboard boxes can be recycled as long as they have not gotten wet. Dry paperboard, such as what cereal comes in, can actually be recycled with paper since it is so thin. However, paperboard boxes that go in the refrigerator or freezer should not be recycled because of the wax coating on them. Throw wax-coated boxes in the trash

Recycling

For nowdays we use balers compacting and recycling cardboard box, like the HBM-63S is the enerpat brand horizontal balers for making the mill sized bales.
